Maggie Schneider Teams Up With Wolfi For Timeless Pop Song “Pretend” – Listen

In March, fans received a taste of Maggie Schneider‘s new sound with the release of her EP “Tinted Glasses.”  This week, the Atlanta singer/songwriter teamed up with Wolfi (Emerson Vernon) and graced our ears with her latest collab “Pretend.”

And it couldn’t be any more relatable.

“The song is about the complications of falling in love with your best friend,” Maggie told Celeb Secrets exclusively. “The song is a conversation between two people who love each other but are hesitant to pull the trigger on anything.”

“I’ve always wanted to write a timeless sounding duet, and this was the best I could come up with. I was initially going to release it off my EP from February, but I couldn’t find a vocalist that I liked enough to feature, and when I found Maggie I knew she’d be perfect,” added Wolfi.

Maggie Schneider kicked off her career in 2016 with the EP, Insomniac. Since then, she has graced the stage with industry notables such as State Champs, Jonny Craig, Like Pacific, and Courage My Love. Her 2018 EP, “Tinted Glasses,” was produced by Rian Dawson of All Time Low and navigates life, relationships and growing up. This summer, Schneider has been seen making waves with exclusive performances on the Vans Warped Tour and at New York City’s infamous ‘Bitter End.’
