The concept of the video is just me with my girlfriends dancing and making our own party,” says the vocalist in an exclusive Celeb Secrets interview. “For the shoot, my goal was just to go in and have fun and that’s exactly what we did. Some music video shoots can be stressful because there are super-specific shots we need to get, but with this one, it felt stress-free because we kept an open mind and gave ourselves a lot of time on location to get creative.”
The level of energy in the video is contagious, as the ladies deliver pristine choreography that makes it seem like they have been practicing the complex routine for ages. However, that’s not the case… In fact, the rising star confessed that the group did not practice the dance moves until shoot day.
“The dancers and I actually never practiced our choreography together in the same room until shoot day! My choreographer, Kayla Janssen, sent them a video or the choreography beforehand, and on the day of we finally were able to put the pieces together in person,” she shared about the creative and production process.
