Cyber Monday is officially here and Malu Trevejo‘s new song makes us want everything on our wishlist this holiday season.

Earlier today, the 16-year-old dropped her first all-English single “Swipe Dat,” which is an unapologetic new bop and our new retail therapy anthem.

“I’m so excited to share my new single ‘Swipe Dat’ with all of you!,” shares Malu in a statement. “I dedicate this song to all my boss girls (and boys) out there and I hope this song inspires you to unapologetically be who you are and know your worth.”

“Swipe Dat” is the follow up to her bilingual single Nadie Como Yo with Cuban reggaeton superstars Gente de Zona (Enrique’s Bailando) which just dropped a few weeks ago and has already reached over 7 million views. The video — which you can watch now below — is super luxurious, showing Malu indulging in some of the finest things life has to offer.

After immigrating to the U.S. at age 12, Malu endured bullying for how skinny she was and for having a thick accent. Allowing her haters to become her motivators, not only did she teach herself English, she utilized social media to express her biggest passion: music and performing. She released a string of videos on Musica.ly which quickly went viral, garnering millions of followers who watch her every move.

“When I used to get bullied it was really bad. I wasn’t confident with myself at all, so I had to learn how to love myself and love my flaws and love who I am. It was just time that helped me be confident with myself,” Trevejo tells Celeb Secrets exclusively.

Hard at work in the studio, Trevejo hopes to release a full-length album in 2019, telling CS fans that she’s about to “drop some fire ass music” in the near future.
