The premiere for the highly-anticipated movie and tv series Tangled: Before Ever After is finally here and Celeb Secrets got an exclusive peek before it airs on television.
Disney celebrated by holding a VIP premiere screening on Saturday, March 4th at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, CA.
Stars from the movie such as Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore walked the purple carpet looking stunning. Also walking the red carpet were her fellow young co-stars from This Is Us and Modern Family’s, Julie Bowen.
Moore talked about her excitement for the series by stating that’s it’s one of her favorite projects to work on, “it’s a dream come true,” and she’s excited to be back as our favorite Disney Princess, Rapunzel.
After the screening, guests got together for a small party on the rooftop and Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder made a special appearance!
The series is based on Disney’ hit animated film Tangled, personally one of my favorites, which premiered in 2010. It takes place after the movie before they get married. It follows our favorite characters Rapunzel (Moore), Flynn Ryder (Levi), and the adorable Maximus and Pascal, as they set out on new adventures! In the trailer we see that Rapunzel’s hair has magically grown back to her long blonde locks. We’re not exactly sure why, but that’s what they set on to try to figure out. The series also introduces a new character, Cassandra, voiced by Broadway star Eden Espinoza, who plays Rapunzel’s alter ego. Check out down below for the full trailer.
To get us even more excited for the premiere Disney also released the first song from the series titled ‘Wind in My Hair’ performed by Mandy Moore, and it’s magical! We’re so excited to hear more music from composer Alan Menken and Glenn Slater.Â
Tangled: Before Ever After is set to premiere on Disney Channel this Friday,  March 10th @ 8 PM followed by the premiere of Tangled: The Series Friday, March 24th @ 7:30 PM! We can’t wait!
