CS4U: You just released the music video for your first original song called “Maybe.” What inspired the song, and why did you choose it to be the first original song you released?

Daniel: “I’ve never had a real girlfriend/relationship, but I think everyone can relate to the issues of having feelings for someone and not being sure what to do about them.”

CS4U: Can you tell us a little bit about the writing process of the EP you’re working on?

Daniel: “Right now I’m just getting in the studio and creating all the time and seeing what songs I like. I’m trying to draw from real experiences so that my fans can relate to what I am going through.”

CS4U: How do you choose which songs you cover?

Daniel: “I’m focusing more on creating new original music at the moment, but I generally pick the songs I’m passionate about to cover.”

CS4U: What has been your craziest fan encounter?

Daniel: “In the summer after one of my shows, I left the venue around midnight, and some fans followed our car about an hour out from the venue. We stopped to grab food and came into the pizza place and it was really late at night.”

CS4U: Do you have a message for your “Skye Hard” army?

Daniel: “My message to my fans is if you have a dream, no matter how far away it seems or how impossible you think it will be to achieve it, go after it. Even though I have a long way to go before accomplishing my dream, I am blessed to have gotten this far. Always remember that anything can happen if you put in the work. None of this would be possible without you guys. Thank you so much for supporting and inspiring me. I hope to meet all of you someday!”

CS4U: Why do you think our readers should check out your music?

Daniel: “Its good for your health and well being. A Daniel Skye song a day is going to keeps the doctor a way 🙂  I’m going to be releasing songs constantly and I think people are going to be excited to see the growth and what I’m doing next.”

CS4U: Since our website is called CS4U, do you have any secrets or hidden talents your fans might not know about?

Daniel: “I’m an expert monopoly player and I used to be really good at card tricks!”
