Happy Monday, readers!

Meet our new “Music Monday” artist this week, Dylan Dauzat.

Hailing from a small town in Louisiana, Dylan Dauzat is a social media star that has found a calling in the music space. .Since working on music, the 17-year-old released his debut single “Kickin It,” which soared up the iTunes charts to an impressive spot in the top ten within 24 hours of the release. Following the success of “Kickin It,” Dylan released a follow-up single, “Mine Tonight.” Demonstrating his evolution as an artist, “Mine Tonight” is a strict transition from Kickin It,” showcasing his vast vocal range and personal connection to the lyrics.

Earlier this year, Dylan released his third original song called “You Got That.” “You Got That” is Dylan’s personal experience about a vacation he went on last year, and how he wanted to be noticed by a beautiful girl he saw. Once getting her attention, he was able to be close friends with her, even to this day.

Currently, Dylan is busy making music, Vines, and YouTube videos while out on the road performing for his fans. Dylan will be releasing his new EP Magnetic on June 4th and performing at DigiFest NYC this weekend at Citifield in Flushing, NY.

CelebSecrets4U recently caught up with Dylan to give you the scoop on this budding social media and music star! In our interview, Dylan talks about how he became involved with Vine and YouTube, the reason why he is pursuing music, and his involvement with DoSomething. He even shares a hidden talent with us and where you can see him next. Make sure to check out the Q&A below!

CS4U: How did you first get into Vine and YouTube?

Dylan Dauzat: “Believe it or not, I was bored and wanted to try something new! I tried it and thought it was really fun and gave me a creative outlet to express myself so I kept at it. Never did I think it would turn into this.”

CS4U: Why do you think you’ve developed such a big following?

Dylan Dauzat: “I’m always, thats why. Never will I stop being who I am because that got me to where I am at to this day. You can tell that I have fun with what I post and am not afraid to look stupid or crazy, because that’s just who I am.”

CS4U: When did you decide you wanted to pursue music?

Dylan Dauzat: “After talking to different people in this industry, I realized this was something i wanted to do. It was great for me to express myself, and I fell in love with it right when I started. Again, I only put out content that is 100% true to who I am and that goes for my music as well, I want to put out music that is the kind that I would enjoy listening to.”

CS4U: How would you describe your music to our readers?

Dylan Dauzat: “Upbeat and positive. My EP coming out VERY SOON will be taking my life more in depth, and real life experiences.”

CS4U: Tell us about your work with DoSomething.org.

Dylan Dauzat: “Yes, I work with the non-profit campaign called DoSomething.org. The reason I joined is because bullying is a HUGE issue in today’s society. I don’t like when people think they are better than others and make people feel inferior. I think you should treat others the way you want to be treated and above all, whether you are “famous” or not, no one likes to be made to feel bad about themselves. I thought ‘if there is a way I could help even one person not go through that pain’, why not do it?”

CS4U: Why should our readers check out your music?

Dylan Dauzat: “I have great quality content that people like to listen to and have a good time with! If you like dancing and having, you need to check me out iTunes.com/dylandauzat :)”

CS4U: Do you have any upcoming projects or plans you can tell us about?

Dylan Dauzat: “Hm, yes i can brief you. I have been working on an EP, which will be released on June 4th, also tour and something else very very secretive. I can’t wait to tell everyone about all the exciting things that I have in the works. 2015 is going to be a great year!”

CS4U: Since our website is called CS4U, do you have any secrets or hidden talents your fans might not know about?

Dylan Dauzat: “Haha, yes I do. I can fit 15 pickles in my mouth haha! I wouldn’t recommend trying it though.”
