Happy Monday, readers!

Meet our Music Monday artist this week, Maddi Jane.

Maddi Jane is a 16-year-old singer/songwriter was discovered by Ellen Degeneres and performed on her show at the ripe age of 11 years old.  The songstress began to build a strong fan base off the back of her ELLEN performance and was soon picked up and has been developed by the steering hand of Chris “Gotti” Lorenzo.  After much acclaim, Maddi, due to her viral YouTube success of 350 million viewers, continued on her next step with the cover of The Script’s “Breakeven.”  She has released her co-written single “Only Gets Better,” while simultaneously getting chosen to be one of the contestants of the Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star competition.

Currently, her track “Only Gets Better,” has racked up over 900,000 views on Maddi’s YouTube channel which boasts close to 1.3 million subscribers. She is working on more original music and will be releasing a new record very soon.

CelebSecrets4U caught up with Maddi last week right after her performance on Good Day New York to talk all things music! In our interview, the 16-year-old told us about her experience on Good Day New York, the inspiration behind her single “Only Gets Better,” and how she’s grown as not only an artist but as a person since she was on Ellen — make sure to check out the video below!
