You guys should know the drill by now. Since you love our New Music Friday roundups, here is our New Music Friday: K-Edition!
As always, we’ll be sharing with you our favorite Korean music releases of the week ranging from K-Pop, K-R&B, K-Rap, and lots more. Rest assured, all of these will be bops because we don’t do skips around here.
SHINee may have just released their seventh studio album, Don’t Call Me, two months ago but as per usual, we were spoiled and got a repackaged version of the album this week, titled Atlantis. Including all the songs from Don’t Call Me, the group also added three additional songs to the project and released an aquatic-themed music video for the title track, “Atlantis.”
Along with a new release from SHINee, Monsta X announced their third Japanese album, Flavors of love, earlier this week. Although the album itself isn’t set to release until May 5, they wanted to give their Monbebe something to listen to before then and released their title track “Flavors of love.” The title track is a good setup for the rest of the album and Monsta X even give their fans a cute shoutout in the song.
This week also found a ton of releases from some of our favorite groups and soloists; including Kang Daniel, CHEEZE, Dvwn, KYUHYUN; with new releases from DONGKIZ, MAMAMOO‘s Wheein, SEVENTEEN‘s The8, CIX, and A.C.E.
