Happy New Music Friday, fam!
With the 2020 Presidential Election only happening 72 HOURS ago (and STILL not knowing who our future president is), many people, including us, are looking for an escape this weekend by listening to new songs from our favorite artists.
Leave it to Miley Cyrus and Stevie Nicks to blend their hits “Midnight Sky” and “Edge of Seventeen,” respectively, to create “Midnight Sky (Edge of Midnight)” that’s topping our New Music Friday playlist this week. The idea to combine both tracks was so smart that it almost feels like it’s an original.
Even more earworms earned high placement on our playlist this afternoon —24kGoldn, Justin Bieber, J Balvin and iann dior‘s “Mood” remix; Maluma and The Weeknd‘s “Hawái” remix; Little Mix‘s “Confetti” and Omah Lay and 6LACK‘s “Damn” with other buzzworthy songs coming from emerging artists like Savannah Cristina, Conor Michael Smith and Olivia Sanabia.
It’s also hard to believe that its already November 6th, and many of our favorite artists are already getting in the holiday spirit. Dan + Shay and Pentatonix released their new Christmas singles “Take Me Home for Christmas” and “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone),” respectively.
