Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Become Parents Via Surrogacy and Welcome Their First Child

Oh baby! This year just added a new member to the Jonas family.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra confirmed that they’ve both singed up for the most important roles they’ll ever take on — parents — as the couple welcomed a child via surrogacy.

Both Jonas, 29, and Chopra, 39, took to social media to post a note on their feeds, stating, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate.” It continued with, “We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much ❤️.”

As soon as the news broke out on social media, the couple was blasted with many comments from fans and family. Celebrating that they are uncles once again, brothers Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas were amongst many to caption the post with “❤️ ❤️,” while actress Eiza Gonzalez captioned, “What a beautiful blessing congratulations ❤️.”

“Family is a big part of my life,” the Quantico actress once told E! News regarding whether or not she’d be open to having kids. “It’s always been a part of my dreams.”

The couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary last December. According to US Weekly, they welcomed a baby girl.

Although the Jonas Brothers member said in a Tweet he has “unintentionally” taken a break from social media, we believe this might have been the best decision the new dad could have made.

Didn’t plan this way by any means, but I have (unintentionally) taken a break from social over the past two weeks to just be present… and it’s felt great. Hope you’ve all been doing really well. Much love.
