Last summer, twin sisters and social media superstars Niki and Gabi DeMartino showed us they can SING with the release of their debut EP Individual. With pop/EDM influenced tracks like “Sleep It Off,” “Flowers” and “R U,” the girls left us hungry for more music the moment the record was released.
Luckily for us, we don’t have to wait that much longer for new music, as the girls gave Celeb Secrets the tea on what’s to come on the pink carpet at Beautycon Festival NYC last weekend.
“The new single coming out is our personalities to a T,” Niki tells Celeb Secrets. “It’s both Niki, both me, but we also have so many tracks following that one coming in the fall,” Gabi adds.
“We spent two years working on six songs, and this year we are like ‘no; we’re going to write our songs, it’s going to come out quick, and it’s going to be an album’,” Niki concludes.
While we don’t have an official release date yet, we know that this upcoming music will be even better than the first set of songs, showing a more mature side of the girls’ and growth when it comes to their sound.
In addition to music, the girls are continuing to post new videos daily on their YouTube channels as well as work on side projects throughout the year.
