With only 2 days left until the big day, CelebSecrets4U is giving you the breakdown on what you should keep and eye on in Colorado during one of the sport’s world’s biggest event of the year.
3 things that we feel are required to have the best X Games experience are:
3. Competition – each competition is free and open to the public, and of course that’s why everyone comes to the X Games — to see the athletes compete! The following sports and disciplines are showcased in the 2015 Winter X Games: MLG, Big Air, SnowMobile, SlopeStyle, X Course and SuperPipe. For an updated list of the competition schedule by day and time, head over to XGames.com
2. Concerts/ Performers – The X Games Music series returns to Buttermilk Mountain with performances by Snoop Dogg (Friday, January 23rd @ 6:15pm), Chromeo (Saturday, January 24th @ 4pm), Skrillex (Saturday, January 24th @ 9pm), and Wiz Khalifa (January 25th @ 4:30pm), alongside the sport and festival offerings. After a successful concert series at Wagner Park in 2014, X Fames will bring the music back to the base of Buttermilk Mountain with a new stage and venue to create a complete event experience for X Games fans. Concerts will be taking place in the Sound Factory Festival Stage. To purchase tickets, click here!
1. Festival Villages – In addition to world-class action sports competitions and music, X Games Aspen is offering four festival villages to enhance the youth culture experience with the following attractions: Galleria, Playground, Sound Factory, and Gaming Shack.
The 2015 Winter X Games begin on Thursday, January 22nd and run until Sunday, January 25th at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado. Fans that aren’t in Aspen for the Games can watch the competitions on ESPN, ESPN3, ABC, and the WatchESPN app.
