Over a Dozen Designers Take Pier 59 Studios During Oxford Fashion Studio’s NYFW Presentation

New York’s Pier 59 Studios were jam packed on Sunday as New York Fashion Week: The Shows 2019 entered its third day. Fashion labels Chaahat Thakker, Poli and Jo, Farah Naz, Ron Ramos, Minzkou, Jisu Lim, NC by Charly Nzogang, Jyu Ri Ri, Final Exit, C’est D., Out of Order, Delayne Dixon, Meg Beck and Pheren Couture previewed their upcoming fall and winter collections over the course of two sessions for Oxford Fashion Studio FW19.

Unlike many fashion week events, this show debuted designs from across the vast fashion spectrum — from high fashion to simple styles, dramatic to casual, and conservative to sultry, it’s unlikely any Oxford guests left the show feeling dissatisfied.

Pheren Couture’s unique pieces were some of the show’s most unforgettable. Models stunned in Pheren Soepadhi’s signature Renaissance-glam style, rocking intricate, lacy dresses and matching face masks.

Fan-favorite Minzkou wowed the audience with an ultra-colorful new collection. Rainbow sequins, floral embellishments, and glitter galore helped Minzkou cast a cheerful contrast against the monochromatic vibes of some of the show’s other labels.

Another standout? Out of Order’s newest collection, for which a model took the runway wearing casual loungewear and occasionally ate handfuls of French fries from a bag she carried with her — yes, really! Other Out of Order models walked nearly naked in the show, dressed in open, oversized jackets with nothing but tape underneath.

Not to be outdone by Pheren Couture, many Out of Order models also sported face masks.
