Paper Magazine’s Mickey Boardman Reveals Who Put the Oil on Kim Kardashian’s Butt (@kimkardashian)

kkcover1(rgb)watermarkEditorial Director of Paper Magazine, Mickey Boardman, gave Yahoo Style Editor-in-Chief, Joe Zee, the details on Kim Kardashian’s controversial cover that almost broke the internet.

In the interview, Mickey Boardman opens up to let the public know if the cover was retouched, why Kim’s butt is on the cover, and who put that oil on her butt. Check out Mickey’s answers below.

If the cover was retouched – “[There was] much less [retouching] than people think. That’s really what she looks like. That’s her. I would say it’s the normal amount of retouching that’s on a normal cover.”

It was Kim’s idea to show her butt on the cover – “Kim’s attitude was ‘if we’re gonna do it, let’s really go there.’ And it was her idea to take off her clothes and show more than her butt. But we [Paper] didn’t say ‘let’s do a cover with your butt hanging out.’ She said she was willing to take her clothes off and one thing lead to another.”

Who put the oil on her butt – “It was the make-up artist. It was someone who she works with a lot so she felt comfortable.
