Partners, Fan Activities & Special Events Announced for the 3rd Annual ACM Party for a Cause Festival

Today the Academy of Country Music announced the partners, activities and special events taking place during the ACM Party for a Cause® Festival – a two-day outdoor music festival on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX. The festival will feature multiple stages for ongoing LIVE country music performances, interactive games and a country marketplace including the 3rd Annual Cabela’s Great Outdoors Archery Event, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Country Checkers Challenge™, Mary Kay’s Pink Carpet, MillerCoors Beer Garden, Ram Trucks Country Music Experience and more.

The festival will begin each day at 12:00 PM on the North Lawn at Globe Life Park where more than 25 country acts will perform on the Party Stage and Ram Lone Star Stage for ongoing outdoor country music until 6:00 PM. After the daytime performances conclude each day, the festival will move to the Main Stage inside of Globe Life Park for an unprecedented lineup of country music legends and this year’s ACM Award nominees and chart-topping artists. The ACM Party for a Cause Festival is among the highly-anticipated events held during the ACM Awards week culminating with the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music’s Party of the Year®. As the official airline partner of the ACM Awards, American Airlines will be offering first class hospitality to the artists performing the nightly concerts at the ACM Party for a Cause Festival.



Luke Bryan and Justin Moore will return to host the 3rd Annual ACM & Cabela’s Great Outdoor Archery Event taking place on Saturday, April 18 from 9:45– 11:45 AM. Watch country music stars Josh Abbott, Rhett Atkins, Luke Bryan, Casey Donahew, Tyler Farr, Brantley Gilbert, Lucas Hoge, Dustin Lynch, Justin Moore, Eric Paslay, Chase Rice, Jep and Willie Robertson, Jamie Lynn Spears, Austin Webb, Dallas Cowboys offensive guard Zack Martin plus Cabela’s pro staff archers Wade Middleton and Kristy Titus participate in this archery exhibition featuring 3D and traditional targets. Team Luke and Team Justin will compete head-to-head to see whose archery skills will take home the trophy! The event is open to the public and bleacher seating is available beginning at 9:30 AM.

Fans may also visit the Cabela’s booth for a fun and interactive outdoor experience, including green-screen photo booth, safe archery, photo kiosk, a Luke Bryan 32 Bridge display and more!



Join Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on Saturday, April 18 at 12:30 PM for a classic game of checkers on the North Lawn of Globe Life Park. Team Captains Kellie Pickler and Thomas Rhett, along with 12 country music artists, will act as human checkers and play on a life-size checkerboard to support the USO and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) military organizations.


For a chance to play in the checkers game, fans can stop by the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store tent on Friday and Saturday and enter to play in the checkers game and win digital gift cards.
