PREMIERE: Megan Rice Covers The Chainsmokers and Daya’s Smash Hit “Don’t Let Me Down” in New Video

Musical newcomer Megan Rice is back with a new cover, and this time she’s taking on The Chainsmokers and Daya‘s smash hit “Don’t Let Me Down.”

The New York-based singer stripped down the track to just a simple piano and it really shows off her killer vocals. Her raspy, sultry and uniquely memorable voice has been compared with classic vocalists like Etta James, Billie Holiday, and Sarah Vaughn.

“I chose the song ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ because the message expressed is very relatable and meaningful,” Rice tells Celeb Secrets. “Slowing down the arrangement of the song allowed me to invest myself into the emotion and relate it to my life.”

Megan is currently in the studio writing and working on a collection of original songs that will be released in early 2017. Over the next few months she will be releasing cover song videos to focus on connecting with new fans across America.
