R5 performs in front of a large crowd at the 12th Annual Citadel Outlets Christmas Tree Lighting held at the Citadel Outlets center court on Saturday evening (November 9) in Los Angeles, Calif.
Aside from R5, Jesse McCartney, Bonnie McKee, Mark Ballas, and Leon Thomas performed at the annual ceremony to get shoppers in the holiday spirit. An estimated 15 thousand attendees flocked to the Citadel Outlets to witness the lighting of the record-breaking world’s largest Christmas tree (115-ft)* and experience the free, outdoor concert.
“Thanks to everyone that came out to the show tonight!! Sorry it was a shorter set. Fun though!” Riker tweeted shortly after their performance.
Event attendees brought new, unwrapped gift donations for Toys for Tots, which were collected by U.S. Marines throughout the night.
