Nickelodeon’s World Wide Day of Play

On Saturday, September 25th, Nickelodeon celebrated its seventh annual Worldwide Day of Play (WWDP) when its TV channels and websites go off the air and offline from 12 to 3 PM (ET/PT) with the goal of inspiring kids to get up and get active. We were fortunate enough to cover this amazing event and get to chat with Nickelodeon sensations Miranda Cosgrove, Keke Palmer, and Victoria Justice!

Nickelodeon partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC on the RBC Race for the Kids event which featured appearances by Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice, Keke PalmerChris Paul, the cast of True Jackson, VP, and Jeff Sutphen, the host of BrainSurge. Park activities included basketball, a rockwall, and obstacle course, Nickelodeon Fit Wii kiosks, a Dora the Explorer photo booth, The Big Help dome and much more.
