Sadie Robertson Delivers Inspirational 3-Hour Program To Sold-out Crowd Of More Than 4,000


Last weekend (September 1, 2015) Sadie Robertson delivered an inspirational program to a sold-out crowd of more than 4,000 at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The A&E’s Duck Dynasty sweetheart and New York Times bestselling author hosted her first large-scale event, “Live Original LIVE,” where she delivered three hours of motivational speeches, skits and videos alongside several family members and friends.

“God has blown me away a lot of times in my life,” Robertson posted to her 2.2 million followers on Instagram, “but tonight He went above and beyond. I pray this is just the beginning of a movement for the people in this world to start living original!”

Robertson began the event with a personal story about fear. The eighteen-year-old opened up to the audience by admitting that she had been too afraid to accept her role on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars in Season 19, even though she ended up not only accepting the role, but also becoming a crowd favorite and snagging 2nd place.

Robertson brought the crowd an evening of fun and encouraging messages surrounding her call for her peers and fans to “live original” with videos for her favorite partnerships and causes — including Glory Haus “Pickles for a Purpose” and the non-profit YouWood benefitting “Purchased: Not For Sale.” The evening also included a special Q&A session on relationships, which was joined by newlyweds John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson, Reed Robertson and his girlfriend Brighton Thompson, as well as ABC’s The Bachelor couple Sean and Catherine Lowe.

Other speakers for “Live original LIVE,” sponsored by Glory Haus and produced by Mason Jar Productions, included filmmaker Max Zoghbi and his wife Bonnie Kate, who shared the inspirational tale of their faith through suffering as a victim of “The Dark Knight” shooting in Colorado, as well as Sadie’s boyfriend and star high school athlete Blake Coward. Reed Robertson treated the packed crowd to a night of great music with several original tracks along with his own popular cover of “Hallelujah.” The Christian pop duo for King & Country concluded the night with an electric performance featuring their hits, of which the vast amount of the crowd knew every word.
