Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and platinum recording artist Jordin Sparks surprised kids from local LA organizations’ PS ARTS and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles when they arrived with the big man in red… Santa, and helped him handout toys for Delta Airlines’ Holiday in the Hangar Event at LAX International Airport on Wednesday morning (December 10) in Los Angeles.
Kids were transported to the “North Pole” and met by LA Lakers’ alumnus A.C. Green, Laker Girls, DreamWorks Animation characters Toothless and Penguins from Madagascar. It was an incredible afternoon and the ladies were not shy with bringing the holiday cheer! They were dancing with the kids, taking pics and even took time to give kisses to Santa Claus.
Upon arrival, the children were surprised by special guests throughout the afternoon who, in addition to Sarah Hyland and Jordin Sparks, included DreamWorks Animation characters Toothless (from “How To Train Your Dragon 2”) and the Penguins of Madagascar; the Coca-Cola Polar Bear; LA Lakers alum A.C. Green; and LA Kings’ Bailey mascot, Ice Crew, and Chariot Staff and the final surprise – Santa Claus and his elves. The children took part in fun activities including sports games provided by the LA Lakers and Kings, DJ “spinning” with the GRAMMY Museum, singing holiday songs and making holiday crafts.
