Welcome back, Savannah Outen!
It’s been a few years since the Portland native and now LA-based singer/songwriter has put out original music, and we could not be more excited for the 24-year-old’s latest release. Titled “Coins,” the track is the first of many Savannah will be releasing this year.
“‘Coins’ is all about me not wanting to change for anybody,” Savannah told Celeb Secrets. “I wanted to write an anthem for my supporters, and hopefully I achieved that with this song. I really hope that people love it and sing along to the lyrics — especially all my girls!”
You may remember Outen when she blew up on the scene after posting incredible covers on her YouTube page back in 2007. She went on to perform at the 85th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, attend the American Music Awards, and have great success with her single “Goodbyes.† Within two weeks of releasing “Goodbyes,” it debuted at #28 on the Top 30 Countdown on Radio Disney, charting for 18 straight weeks and peaking at #5, making it the highest rated song an unsigned artist has ever achieved on Radio Disney. Now, Savannah is all grown up and making music with a more mature yet creative sound.
