SHEIN Together Fest is coming soon with exclusive performances from Hollywood’s top talent.
This year’s virtual music celebration will mark the worldwide fashion retailer’s second annual philanthropic festival. To unite audiences from around the globe in light of a good cause, the event will be streamed live on the SHEIN app, free of charge.
Erin Lim Rhodes known for her work with E! will host the festival that’s jam-packed with celebrity features from Nick Jonas, Steve Aoki, Maren Morris, Tinashe and Lunay.
“Last year SHEIN Together helped unite 1.8 million SHEIN fans to raise awareness and funds for Covid relief. The overwhelming response that SHEIN Together received last year has inspired us to continue our philanthropic efforts and give back to our community,” Chief Marketing Officer Molly Miao says in a press release on April 22. “This year, we are thrilled to have such a diverse lineup of talent to help us celebrate the Light-A-Wish campaign.”
SHEIN has promised to donate $300,000 to the top three charities mentioned in the Light-a-Wish campaign according to their statement. After launching back in December 2020, the campaign has granted fans the agency to elect the top three causes that they’d like to support most. Since then ten million have visited the Light-a-Wish page, while two million fans expressed the highest levels of passion towards anti-racism efforts, support for at-risk youth and climate action.
In response to the overwhelming engagement, SHEIN will donate $100,000 to three corresponding charities including NAACP (LDF) for racial justice, Together We Rise, and Ecologi. More details on the company’s philanthropic action plan will be available next month.
SHEIN Together Fest is set to go live on May 2 at 2 p.m. PST.
Interested fans can enter the event giveaway by following @sheinofficial on Instagram, reposting the contest announcement with #SHEINtogetherfest, and tagging three friends. Prizes include wireless speakers and SHEIN gift cards.
