CelebSecrets4U scored an exclusive invite to a private screening of the season eight premiere for NBC’s The Voice last week, and we’re giving you the scoop on what you’ll see during tonight’s episode!

This season, former coach and superstar Christina Aguilera will make her return to the big red chair replacing Gwen Stefani. Pharrell Williams will also be joining Christina, Adam, and Blake on the coaching panel for the second season in a row.

In the season premiere, we see so many talented people’s auditions — we can’t even imagine what the coaches go through! The contestants were not only very good singers, but also had heartwarming stories that are sure to pull at your heart strings. I know I was tearing up a few times throughout the episode!

The two hour special is very touching yet very funny at the same time. Blake and Adam bring the nonstop laughs with their endless bickering, but what really grabs our attention is Pharrell and Christina’s commentary. They definitely know how to give Blake and Adam a run for their money! Something that fans will notice is the coach choice from the contestants. Pharell and Blake are the top two coaches that receive the most contestants — but why? In our opinion, these budding artists felt that Pharrell was a good choice because he is an Academy award nominated artist and an incredible producer. The contestants feel that they can be themselves with their own style and Pharrell will be believing in them every step of the way. We also feel that the contestants chose Blake Shelton as their coach because of his ability to make such successful country artists. Blake helped coach some pretty big names in country including Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery, and The Swon Brothers.

Who will be “The Voice” this year? Make sure to tune in every Monday and Tuesday beginning tonight at 8PM ET/PT on NBC.
