Sofia Carson, Jordan Fisher & More Celebrate Families at T.J. Martell Foundation’s 8th Annual Family Day

The T.J. Martell Foundation celebrated families with its 8th Annual Family Day earlier this month and it was definitely one to remember.

The spectacular event was held at The Grove in Los Angeles to bring families together with good music, food, and games all while raising funds for cancer research.

The sold-out event was a total success — the concert kicked off with special sets from boy bands Next Town Down and In Real Life, followed by stellar performances from Jordan Fisher and Sofia Carson.

Receiving support from his fellow Dancing With The Stars cast mate Debbie Gibson and partner Lindsay Arnold, Fisher performed crowd favorites (with fans by his side) including “All About Us” and his new single “Mess.”

The final performance of the afternoon was from Hollywood Records/Republic Records recording artist Sofia Carson. The Descendants 2 star’s 20-minute set was full of high-energy and the crowd absolutely loved it. Our favorite moment had to be when she sang her single “Back to Beautiful.” Carson not only dedicated the song to Las Vegas victims, but also brought a young cancer survivor on stage to share her powerful story of perseverance and strength fighting the disease.

Celeb Secrets had the opportunity to attend the event and talk to some of the attendees and performers, who shared their family traditions while the joy they had for being at an event that is trying to make a difference. Isabela Moner shared some advice for girls who are struggling with self-esteem and need some words of wisdom, while Sofia Carson could not stop glowing about the honor of headlining the event.
