Taking place all over the city from February 6th through the 13th, NYFW: The Shows is not only showcasing the newest styles for next fall, but also bringing the best celebrities, street style, and insane FOMO to all our Insta feeds.

To celebrate the February 2019 season of New York Fashion Week: The Shows, Leslie Russo, Executive Vice President of IMG Fashion Events, together rang the Opening Bell at Nasdaq MarketSite with IMG Models Chella Man, Eric Rutherford, Grace Mahary, Hilary Rhoda, Jordan Stenmark, Jules Horn, Lono Brazil, Marquita Pring, Noel Berry, Precious Lee, Zack Miko, Zack Stenmark; NYFW designers, Becca McCharen-Tran (Chromat), Christian Cowan, Phillipe Rolano and David Trujillo (The Blonds), and Victor Glemaud; and the IMG team who make NYFW: The Shows a success on Tuesday, February 5th.
Ivan Bart (President, IMG Models & IMG Fashion Properties) and Brandice N. Daniel (CEO & Founder, Harlem’s Fashion Row) invited guests to an evening honoring Ruth E. Carter, the celebrated costume designer for films including Black Panther, Malcolm X, Selma, Love & Basketball, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, What’s Love Got To Do With It, Jungle Fever and more at Spring Studios on Wednesday, February 6th. Attendees enjoyed cocktails provided by Courvoisier and a curated installation of her iconic work, reimagined in collaboration with top fashion stylist Ibrahim Kamara.
Cast members from E!’s newest docu-series Front Five participated in an intimate panel discussion and luncheon at New York Fashion Week: The Shows on Thursday, February 7th.
Designers Rebecca Minkoff and LaQuan Smith, Teen Vogue EIC, Lindsay Peoples Wagner, IMG model Candice Huffine and The Wall Group make-up artist Romy Soleimani, with moderator and E! Fashion correspondent Zanna Roberts Rossi discussed the behind-the-scenes look at their fashion weeks and shared what inspires their personal journeys and influences their style with additional guests Vanessa Webb, Billy Porter, Bozoma Saint John, Jessica Joffe, and Stephanie March.

Four dynamic Indonesian designers put a spin on the FW19 collections at NYFW: The Shows on Thursday morning on-site at Industria. The participating designers shown on the runway were Dian Pelangi, Alleira Batik, Itang Yunasz and 2 Madison Avenue.
Attendees were left in awe by each garment as they flowed down the runway. Intricate details like embroidered lace, bead work, and crystals were woven onto organic cotton, silk, leather and satin – many of the looks encompassing the traditional Indonesian prints and head wraps, like hijabs and turbans.
The runway show was packed with a full house of industry editors, buyers, influencers, and notable guests which included Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers, Francesca Curran from Orange is the New Black, Ashley Martson and Jay Smith from 90 Day Fiancé, Melody Mitchell from VH1 Black Ink Crew, and Jenelle Evans from MTV Teen Mom 2 along with notable members of The Consul General Republic of Indonesia: Winanto Adi, Consul for Social-Cultural and Information Affairs, Yohannes Jatmiko, Consul for Economic Affairs, Rima Sundusita, Vice Consul for Social-Cultural and Information Affairs and Rahmayanti Jailani, Spouse of Indonesian consul general.
Luxury brand, MCM teamed up with The Daily Front Row to celebrate The New Wave Issue with a start studded NYFW party on February 9th. Guests included: Aquaria, Alexandra Richards, Barron Hilton, Tessa Hilton, Caroline Daur, Ming Lee Simmons, Eric Rutherford, Mimi Cuttrell, Young Paris, Mariah Strongin and many more!
