“Stranger Things” Season 4 Updates: Millie Bobby Brown Yells at Co-star David Harbour for Spilling Secrets & More

Stranger Things season four is fast approaching and the cast members seem to be just as excited as we are.

David Harbour (actor of Jim Hopper) took to Instagram this Wednesday (April 7) where he expressed his enthusiasm while catching up with some fans, but he took the spoilers a bit too far. Luckily for Netflix, Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) was there to scold him before he spilled the entire plot in his Instagram live.

Harbour opens the clip while lying on a couch with bruises on his face. Although our initial instinct is to think he was brutally injured, we quickly remember it’s all just part of his makeup for the show when he asks: “Who wants to hear spoilers for season four? Let me just read directly from the script.”

It’s all fun and games for Harbour until Brown makes a sneaky appearance. For the sake of saving his job, Harbour pleads with her since he doesn’t want Netflix to get any intel on the situation.

In a hilarious attempt to keep Brown from snitching, Harbour threatens to read Eleven’s script to all his live viewers. At this point, Brown just has to get in on the action! She joins the live even though she can hardly contain her laughter.

“Get off of live and go back to work,” Brown screams while standing outside amid greenery.

Unfortunately, the live clip has already generated over one-million views and counting so Harbour was unsuccessful in his ploy to keep things a secret from his employers. Netflix even commented on the video with two emojis: a waving hand and a pair of eyes, suggesting that they’re always watching.

Will Harbour’s character eventually get killed off the show for breaking these rules, or are his producers and directors laughing right along with us? Only time will tell.

Interestingly, Netflix is far from the only commentator with a blue check mark next to their name. The hilarious moment has acclaimed attention from co-star Cara Buono, Jersey Shore’s Jenni Farley and singer/songwriter Lily Allen who is also Harbour’s wife IRL.

In the comments section, Buono dishes she once got in trouble for posting a photo with a chair that revealed her character’s name during her down time behind the scenes.

On top of this adorable season four sneak peek, one of our favourite stars recently spoke out about what Stranger Things has in store on Wednesday.

Will it be ‘the scariest one’?

In his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, actor Gaten Matarazzo spilled the tea, confirming the upcoming season of Stranger Things “might be the scariest one.”

“We’re going for it this year,” he said while cautioning Fallon not to watch the show with his toddlers once it airs.

Back in November 2020, the Stranger Things social media team announced that season four won’t be a dull moment. The long list of incoming cast members includes Robert Englund, Eduardo Franco, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sherman Augustus and many more. We can’t wait to see if these new stars have any entertaining tricks up their sleeves.

While the official release date remains unknown, Stranger Things stars seem to consistently repeat that fans can expect a new season very soon.

Although it’s true the pandemic has made it necessary for all staff members to take their safety more seriously than ever, filming hasn’t been put to a complete halt. Many fans out there are hopeful for a launch in 2021, but the gossip is sadly unconfirmed.
