The 64th Annual Grammy Awards Move To April in Las Vegas

Music lovers can celebrate! The 64th Annual Grammy Awards are back on track to broadcast live – and this year in a new location.

On January 18, the Recording Academy released an update, letting fans worldwide know that music’s biggest night will be broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, at 8 pm on CBS. The star-studded night will also be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

The original date of January 31 was postponed earlier in the month due to safety concerns revolving around the increase of Omicron variant cases around the world.

Even with the location change, comedian Trevor Noah will still return as the award show host.

Although the nominations were announced back in November, performers for the ceremony have not yet been announced. However, fans could expect to hear a lineup closer to the day of the show.

Along with the Grammys being rescheduled, other events such as the CMT Music Awards have had to be postponed.

Country music’s biggest night was set to broadcast live on April 3, but due to the Grammys using the same arena, the CMT Awards have been pushed back, and a new date has yet to be announced.

More details about dates and locations of other official GRAMMY® Week events, including the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony®, MusiCares® Person of the Year, and the Pre-GRAMMY® Gala, have yet to be released but will be announced soon.
