Nickelodeon, along with the cast and crew of Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, celebrated the film’s world premiere at the iconic Paramount Studios in Los Angeles last month (September 25) and Celeb Secrets was on site to tell you all about it!
For those of you who don’t know, Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library is an adaptation of the best-selling children’s novel in 2013 by Chris Grabenstein. The fantastical adventure follows a group of friends whose overnight stay in their town’s new high-tech library turns into a daring, dangerous adventure of escape.
World-renowned gamemaker Luigi Lemoncello (Russell Roberts) has built his latest creation–a new state-of-the-art library filled with whimsical and eccentric rooms, where hardcover books fly kids to shelves in the sky, and massive doors open into fantastical worlds. The kids must use their wits to complete riddles and collect clues that lead them out of this unique playground of imagination. When excitement turns to jeopardy, this world of wonder begins to spiral out of control as literary characters run amok and chaos ensues. It’s up to the kids to make everything right again or else they won’t be the only ones escaping.
The movie stars Casey Simpson (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn), Breanna Yde (School of Rock), Klarke Pipkin and A.J. Rivera, who stopped by to talk to us on the orange carpet before the screening. Casey, Breanna, Klarke, and AJ told us all about their characters, favorite memories from filming, and some behind the scenes secrets from filming!
In addition to the cast from Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, stars from other Nickelodeon shows were in attendance, including School of Rock‘s Aidan Miner, Knight Squad‘s Lilimar and Lexi DiBenedetto, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn‘s Kyla Drew, and I Am Frankie‘s Armani Barrett, Nicole Alyse Nelson, and Carson Rowland.  They also chatted with us about their current shows, favorite books, and all things Halloween!
