The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Fifth Harmony Will Perform at the 2016 American Music Awards

We can’t wait much longer for the AMAs after this announcement!

Revealed earlier this morning, ABC and dick clark productions confirmed that James Bay and Fifth Harmony, as well as special duets from The Chainsmokers and Halsey and Carlos Vives with Shakira have been added to the performance lineup for the 2016 American Music Awards. The announcement comes just one day after the news that rockers Green Day and twenty one pilots will also be performing during the world’s biggest fan-voted show.

This will be the first time that James Bay, Fifth Harmony, Halsey, The Chainsmokers and Carlos Vives will perform at the AMAs. Performing their new smash single “That’s My Girl,” Fifth Harmony are nominated for Collaboration of the Year, while The Chainsmokers is up for New Artist of the Year Un-leashed by T-Mobile, Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Duo or Group Pop/Rock, and Favorite Artist – Electronic Dance Music and will be performing their number one hit “Closer” with Halsey.

All of the artists join previously announced performers Lady Gaga, Green Day, Bruno Mars, twenty one pilots, and American Music Award of Merit honoree Sting. 

The 2016 American Music Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater Sunday, November 20th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
