The Chainsmokers Return to Aspen for Show Stopping Performance at X Games

It’s been two years since The Chainsmokers shut down Buttermilk Mountain for a one-of-a-kind performance at X Games Aspen. If you thought Alex Pall and Drew Taggart couldn’t top what they did in 2017 after being announced on the music lineup this year, think again.

The New York-bred EDM duo exceeded everyone in attendance’s expectations, as they mixed hit after hit with laser and pyrotechnic production. From sing-along ballads like “Closer,” “This Feeling” and “Something Just Like This” to bops like “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Roses,” The Chainsmokers proved that they are in a league of their own, dominating the EDM industry one beat at a time.

The last day of X Games Aspen hits Buttermilk Mountain tonight, with a performance from Kygo. Other events throughout the day include Men’s Ski Slopestyle, Monster Energy Snowboard SuperPipe, and Snow Bike Best Trick.
