The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here — the explosive season two finale of Tyler Perry’s Sistas is coming in just a few hours and we’re getting the scoop on what to expect from it straight from the cast.
The No. 1 cable series for African Americans, Tyler Perry’s Sistas follows a group of single black females as they navigate their “complicated love lives,” careers, and friendships through the ups-and-downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Every week, the one-hour drama takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and hilarious moments that are literally the epitome of #squadgoals.
With the big episode only a few hours away, Celeb Secrets sits down with the guys from the show — Brian Jordan Jr. (Maurice), Anthony Dalton (Calvin) and Trinity Whiteside (Preston) to learn more about the episode that they describe as “crazy af.” According to the network, Karen (played by Ebony Obsidian) struggles with her feelings for Zac (played by DeVale Ellis); Gary (Chido Nwokocha) reluctantly agrees to get counseling and Fatima senses hidden fears from Zac.
“There are gonna be some jaw-dropping moments and some shock value [in the finale],” Anthony Dalton, who plays Calvin, tells Celeb Secrets. “Some no, he didn’t. No, she didn’t; oh, he needed to go; She needed to go; they need to do this… the conversation will be in full force on Twitter.”
Brian Jordan Jr., who plays Maurice, adds, “A lot of tables will turn; fans take this person’s side and they take that person’s side, but after the finale you’ll be on another side. And then when you come back for season three, you may be on another side. Those tables are always gonna turn.”
