“The Voice” Semi-Finals Results Show Recap – May 13th, 2014 (@NBCTheVoice #TheVoice)

The Voice - Season 6The Voice has narrowed it down to the top 3 finalists on this week’s results show (May 13).

On last night’s show, Coach Usher performed his single “Good Kisser” on national television for the first time. To watch the performance, click here.

Tonight’s results show kicked off with a special performance of “Rewind” from mega hit band Rascal Flatts. Following the performance, host Carson Daly announced that Team Blake’s Jake Worthington has been put through to the season finale next week due to high votes.

After the announcement, last season’s champion Tessanne Chin along with runners-up Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin returned to the Voice stage to perform singles from their forthcoming albums. Ed Sheeran also made a special appearance to announce that he would be performing during next week’s season finale–how exciting!

After Tessanne, Jacquie, and Will‘s homecoming, host Carson Daly announced that Team Usher‘s Josh Kaufman was automatically put through to next week’s finale event.

The remaining three, Christina Grimmie, Kristen Merlin, and Kat Perkins, performed for one last time to remain in the competition.

After the Twitter Instant Save vote, Christina Grimmie was spared another week meaning Team Shakira’Kristen Merlin and Team Adam’s Kat Perkins were eliminated from the competition.

The Top 3 are Josh Kaufman, Christina Grimmie, and Jake Worthington.
