“The Voice” Top 8 Performance Night Recap — December 1, 2014 (@NBCTheVoice #TheVoice)

The Voice - Season 7The Voice Top 8 hit the stage for a night of live performances tonight (December 1st) at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

The Top 8 – Team Gwen’s Ryan Sill, Taylor John Williams, Team Pharrell’sDanica Shirley, Luke Wade, Team Blake’sCraig Wayne Boyd, and Team Adam’sChris Jamison, Matt McAndrew, Damion Lawson  kicked off the night with an heart felt group performance of Sheppard’s “Geronimo. 

Saved two weeks in a row Team Gwen’s, Ryan Sill, takes the stage and performs Journey’s “Open Arms” with nothing but positive feed back from the coaches. “I think this performance is probably your best yet!” said Blake Shelton.

Team Blake’s, Craig Wayne Boyd, hit the stage with a heart felt performance of “Take it Easy” by The Eagles.

Team Pharrell’s, Danice Shirley performs an emotional “These Dreams” by Heart. “I think it was perfect timing to hear that great choice..” said Gwen Stefani.

Damion Lawson, Team Adam, showcased his in vocals to Adele’s “Someone Like You” and left the coaches speechless. “You effortlessly just paint the air with those notes.” said Pharrell.

A crowd favorite, Chris Jamison, also apart of Team Adam, gave a little “Sexual Healing” by Marvin Gaye. “That was hands down your best performance.” said Pharrell.

Contestants Luke Wayne sang “Holding Back the Years” by Simply Red. Taylor John Williams singing Lorde’s “Royals” and Matt McAndrew with “The Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice.

Gwen Stefani and Pharrell also took the stage for a coaches collab of “Spark the Fire”

Nick Jonas took the Voice stage to perform a gospel rendition of his hit single “Jealous” along with the Top 8.
