Tori Kelly’s Performance Was the Most Shazamed Moment at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards! (@ToriKelly @MTV #VMAs)

Tori Kelly takes the stage at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday evening (August 30) in Los Angeles, California.

Only four months after making her award show debut at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards, Tori once again proved to us that she’s here to stay and will be the next big thing in pop music. The performance, similar to her “Nobody Love” performance, started off with just Tori and her guitar and ended with a full-blown a cappella. Tori received a standing ovation from the audience, including fellow singer-songwriter Hailee Steinfeld. 

The 23-year-old singer may not have been nominated for an award this year, but her performance of “Should’ve Been Us” who won overall for Most Shazamed Moment of the Night.

Besides Tori, the other top Shazamed moments at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards included “HeavyDirtySoulLane BoyM’$ and L$D” by Twenty One Pilots with A$AP RockyDowntown” by Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis, “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd and “What Do You Mean?” by Justin Bieber

“Incredible night. So thankful for the opportunity to share my heart on a stage like the vmas. Never gonna forget this.” Tori tweeted after her performance.
