TGIF!
Tove Lo is getting our weekend to a great start with the release of her new song “Influenceâ€Â featuring Wiz Khalifa.
“Influence” is the latest track to be featured off her highly-anticipated album Lady Wood, arriving October 28th via Island Records. It builds off the momentum of “cool girl,” released earlier this summer.
“Influenceâ€Â and “cool girlâ€Â comprise the first new music to drop from Tove Lo as she opens her fall tour as direct support for Maroon 5, their only U.S. dates of 2016. The tour, which began September 3rd at AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, will end at Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA, on October 16th. Dates originally scheduled from September 21st through October 1st (in Albany, Montreal, Quebec, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati and MilwauÂkee) have been rescheduled to next February-March due to the upcoming birth of Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine’s first child. Tove Lo will not be appearing on those rescheduled dates.
Lady Wood is the long-awaited successor to Tove Lo’s landmark debut album of 2014, the RIAA platinum Queen Of The Clouds.  The album included “Habits (Stay High),â€Â the career-defining 5x-platinum global #1 hit that introÂduced her to U.S. audiences, and has surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams; and the double-platinum follow-up, “Talking Bodyâ€Â (#3 on Billboard Pop Airplay, #12 on the Hot 100). Tove Lo has also been the featured artist on tracks by fellow Island artist Nick Jonas (“Closeâ€), Coldplay (“Funâ€), Years & Years (“Desireâ€), Broods (“Freak Of Natureâ€), Flume (“Say Itâ€), and Alesso (“Heroesâ€).
