Twisted Returns to ABC Family Tonight – Read Our Q&A with Kylie Bunbury! (@kyliebunbury)

KYLIE BUNBURYStartling truths are revealed and new secrets are shared in “Dead Men Tell Big Tales,” the winter premiere episode of ABC Family’s original series “Twisted,” airing Tuesday, February 11th (9:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT).

Jo is still struggling with her conflicted feelings about Danny when he turns to her for help while hiding out from the police. Danny overhears some surprising information about his father, which leads him on a quest to find out if his father is indeed alive.  Lacey brings some information to Kyle regarding Regina, which she doesn’t realize points to a surprising new suspect in Regina’s murder.  And Danny shocks Jo and Lacey when he finally reveals the details of what happened with his Aunt Tara all those years ago.

Meanwhile, Karen turns to an old friend (recurring guest star Ivan Sergei) for help in locating her presumed dead husband, not realizing Tess may hold the key to his whereabouts. And while searching for Danny, Lacey encounters new Green Grove resident Charlie (recurring guest star Jack Falahee), who quickly ingratiates himself into her life.

CelebSecrets4U recently caught up with Kylie Bunbury, where she told us her predictions for season 1B! Read the Q&A below. Stills from “Dead Men Tell Big Lies” under…

Is there anything that you’re hoping for your character in the new season?

K. Bunbury: “I’m hoping she warms up a bit because it’s hard to play this cold character the entire time.  Yes, I really hope that she warms up a bit and that you get to see her goofy and silly side.  I guess that’s just me saying I want people to see my goofy and silly side.  I also hope that her and Jo’s relationship starts taking off and goes in a more positive direction.”

Do you honestly think Danny will give up on his feelings for Lacey so easily in order to save his friendship with Jo?

K. Bunbury: “I don’t think he has given up on his feelings for Lacey.  I think that he just knows what he needs to do at this time to salvage his relationship with Jo and also with Lacey, because Lacey sort of made the decision to no longer be with him.  I think that their feelings for each other are very real and they’re there and you can’t just dismiss those just because of the circumstance.”

How do you think the show will explore the storyline of the recent revelation that Lacey’s father is gay?

K. Bunbury: “I’m actually very excited to see more of Lacey’s home life.  I don’t know what direction they’re planning on going, but I hope that they do explore it because it’s not something that you see very frequently.  I’m actually very curious because I think that Lacey and her father can now have a relationship or the relationship that they never really had. I’m excited to see where they take that.”

Do you think Lacey and Danny will patch things up?

K. Bunbury: “I’m not sure if they will, but what I do know is that the only reason that they’re not together is because of Danny’s lies.  It’s not because they’ve lost interest in each other or lost feelings for each other.”

Where do you see their relationship heading for the future?

K. Bunbury: “Their relationship is a little stifled right now. I think that until Danny comes out with all of the truth, that Lacey’s not going to put up with anything. That’s just me.  I know if a guy continued to lie to me, it would take a lot for me to let him back in my life.”

Is it possible that a romance between Lacey and Archie will kick off again?

K. Bunbury: “Anything is possible! I don’t think, for myself personally, that Lacey has those feelings for Archie anymore.  I think that she respects him and she realizes that she definitely betrayed his trust. She hurt him as a friend and as someone that she cares about.  I don’t think that she has romantic feelings for him any longer.  I guess anything could happen and there are only so many guys on the show, so they could recycle the relationship.”
