Vella has proven that 2021 is her year to shine time and time again with her incredible songs and her latest release is no different.
“Blue” is the latest cut from the 18-year-old rock and soul artist, and this time, she is joined by the iconic Macy Gray. Released this past Friday (October), the two standout musicians came together to create a beautiful and sultry song that highlights both of their signature tones and… wow do those tones compliment each other!
On working with Macy Gray, Vella exclusively shares, “[It was] so amazing! She is such a unique soul and really inspired me with her writing! I’m so happy I was able to do a song with her and I’m so excited for people to listen to this amazing song!”
In addition to releasing an impressive catalogue of music this year, Vella has been performing across the country at events like the NFL Experience and even the Gasparilla Music Festival in Tampa, FL. We asked the young star to dish on her favorite performances and she said, “My all time favorite show by far was in Bozeman Montana! Everyone was going crazy!!!! I even signed peoples chest at one point.”
She goes on, “Not only were people happy about the performance but they were jamming out to MY originals and it just means a lot to me seeing people enjoying my music! The crowd was insane, and I always tell everyone the more the crowd the better I perform!”
“Blue” is a beautiful record and perfect way to wrap up an incredible year for Vella. The future is bright for the artist and we can’t wait to hear more!
