Visiting Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood is a MUST During This Year’s Holiday Season

Let’s face it — for the amount of times we visited this year, Universal Studios Hollywood is pretty much our second home and we can’t complain about it one bit. From checking out the mazes at Halloween Horror Nights to taking a trip to Hogwarts inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, USH is hands down our favorite place to visit!

When we heard Grinchmas was coming back to the park for another year, we knew we had to check it out. Filled with characters, activities, music and a spectacular tree lighting, visiting Who-ville is a MUST during the holiday season.

When we arrived to Who-ville, we were greeted by the guest of honor — the Grinch. The Grinch gave us the scoop on what to expect when visiting Who-ville and some secrets about him that you never knew!

After meeting The Grinch, we took some photos with his faithful companion Max, Cindy-Lou Who, Martha May Who-vier, and the Who Dolls. We love how friendly everyone was in town!

We then stopped by the 60-foot Christmas tree to hear Cindy-Lou Who read Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas to everyone in attendance. Following the special presentation, we were treated to a wonderful performance of “Santa Baby” from Martha May Who-vier and the Who Dolls. There’s also a hip boy band ensemble called the Who-liday Singers who perform a nightly mix of your Christmas favorites! While we didn’t get to see them live, we know that they were amazing because mixing Christmas and boy bands seems like a dream come true. DOESN’T IT?

Before leaving Who-ville, we did the most Christmasy thing possible — we made ornaments and wrote letters to Santa The Grinch! Our ornaments were hung on the tree for EVERYONE to see, while our letters included three good deeds we’ve done this year. It was the perfect way to end a fun, holiday-filled afternoon!

You can experience Grinchmas from now until December 31st by purchasing tickets to the park on their website. Make sure to tweet us your photos from your Grinchmas visit!
