The world premiere of the second season of Nickelodeon’s beloved horror anthology series based on the ‘90s kids’ cult classic Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows is only a few hours away, and Celeb Secrets is sitting down with the cast to learn everything you need to know before its debut.
Back for six episodes, Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows follows an all-new Midnight Society group of kids who learn of the terrifying curse cast over their small seaside town, and are haunted by a mysterious creature known as the Shadowman.
Starring Bryce Gheisar (The Astronauts, Wonder) as Luke; Arjun Athalye as Jai; Beatrice Kitsos (Child’s Play, iZombie) as Hanna; Malia Baker (The Baby-Sitters Club) as Gabby; Dominic Mariche (The Christmas Yule Blog, A Gift to Cherish) as Seth; and Parker Queenan (Party of Five, Andi Mack) as Connor, the show’s second season will definitely leave families on the edge of their seats, as new spooky horrors will await the new cast in the shadows. You may even wind up leaving your lights on while you sleep later tonight!

To celebrate the premiere, cast members Bryce Gheisar, Arjun Athalye, and Parker Queenan; along with the show’s Executive Producer and Director Jeff Wadlow, Executive Producer and Showrunner JT Billings, and ACE Entertainment CEO and Executive Producer Matt Kaplan; as well as special guest Frankie Grande gathered to the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. on Tuesday (February 9) for a special drive-in screening where the cast, crew, and special guests watched the premiere episode safely from their own cars.
