Today, Celeb Secrets is exclusively premiering the rising artist’s new music video for the track. Celeb Secrets: What has your experience been like recording this track?
Christian James: This track took a lot out of me, mostly emotionally, but it gave me an opportunity to express that and how I feel.

Celeb Secrets: How did this song idea happen?
Christian James: I’ve been wanting to write a song about this for a while now. I was in LA for some writing sessions when I came across one that I just started spilling about my past relationship. It really took a lot out of me emotionally. So I decided to write about the things I wish I could take back. Leaving West Palm Beach, FL (from a girl I adored), for the music scene here in Nashville, was one of hardest decisions I have ever made. Not to mention, I wasn’t the best partner in the relationship, so leaving was even harder for me. I knew I could never take anything back. So I wrote about it, apologizing for the way I left it.
Celeb Secrets: What’s the message you are hoping listeners take away from the song?
Christian James: Never take a loved one for granted. Give them your all, and if it is time to close that door, at least you can say you gave it your best.
Celeb Secrets: What was your favorite part of creating your music video?
Christian James: This music video was awesome to shoot. I think my favorite part was looking out the skyline of Nashville, knowing I came here for a reason: to pursue music.
