About 10 years after High School Musical’s television debut, Disney has decided to embark on something new. Last night at Disney Upfront, they announced that High School Musical 4 is in the works. They are currently casting a whole brand new set of East High Wild Cats with a nation wide search. This new chapter will also feature their rivals, the West High Knights.
Jeffrey Hornaday, who directed Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2, is set to direct and choreograph while Dan Berendsen (Hannah Montana: The Movie, Teen Beach 2) and Peter Barsocchini (writer of all three HSM movies) is set to write the newest chapter of the franchise.
