Carolyn Miller Breaks Out of Her Comfort Zone and Goes “All In” in New Single (Premiere)

Back in June, rising country vocalist Carolyn Miller released the first of her three singles for 2020, “Ain’t About That,” on Celeb Secrets. Since its world premiere, the song has racked up over 130K streams plus rotation on Music Choice’s Pop and Country channels. Promising that two more tracks were on the way, fans are getting the first listen to the New York native’s second single “All In” right here on Celeb Secrets before its big release this Thursday (October 15).

The new song, according to the 31-year-old, “celebrates the moment you forget your fears, ignore the ‘what ifs,’ take down your walls, and jump in head first… because the risk might just be worth the reward.” A mid-tempo song with more pop influences than ever, “All In” showcases Miller’s smooth vocals, which are the perfect match for the track’s playful lyrics about facing your fears — whether it be telling your crush how you really feel or taking the leap to pursue your dreams.

“Going ‘all in’ to a relationship in the beginning can be scary, especially if you’ve been hurt in the past. Giving a piece of yourself to someone is the most vulnerable thing we can do!” she tells Celeb Secrets exclusively.

“All In” was written by Jamie Moore (“May We All”/FGL, “Chasin’ You”/Morgan Wallen), Emily Landis (“Good Ones”/Gabby Barrett), and Abby Anderson (Black River Recording Artist), with production by Frank Legeay and Michael Mechling. After toying with the song for a bit, Miller jumped out of her comfort zone and decided to move forward with recording the unique track; all while staying true to her signature artistry.

“My friend who works in publishing sent me this song awhile back. Right away, I knew it was different and super unique. I always thought it was really cool and special, but wasn’t sure it was the right fit for me at first,” she shares.

“This was a really fun track to craft and we spent a lot of time playing with different ideas. Everything from the vinyl crackling sound at the top to the change of time signatures in the choruses was done with a lot of TLC — and a few Truly’s :)”

After making her country music debut with the release of her debut EP Unbreakable in 2018, Carolyn has been in the fast lane to stardom by releasing songs like What You Can’t Have” and Summer Time” in 2019, which showcased her impressive vocal range and true talent. Before the pandemic, Miller opened for artists such as Chase Rice, Ashley McBryde, Walker Hayes, and kicked off NY’s Country 94.7 Stars and Strings event at the Barclays Center starring Sam Hunt, Dustin Lynch, Chris Janson, and Runaway JuneUsing her time in quarantine very wisely, the 31-year-old (virtually) sang the national anthem for the NY Mets vs. Phillies game over the summer and has delivered over 75 livestream concerts for various radio stations, media outlets, and music venues since the end of March 2020.

“All In” follows “Ain’t About That,” a pop-country upbeat tune that celebrates the moments and feelings with a loved one that can’t ever be bought, recreated, or replaced. Miller is expected to release one more song before the end of the year with an EP coming in 2021.
