For the entire month of February, rumors have literally been breaking the Internet that the Jonas Brothers were getting back together with us reporting on Tuesday that a new song was being released on all iHeartRadio Top 40 stations this Friday, March 1st.
After doing some digging (and crazy teasers from the guys) here’s everything you need to know about this long-awaited JoBro reunion.
After filming a documentary and secretly working on music for the past few months, a source revealed to Us Weekly that the rumors of JB getting back together were indeed true.
They also spilled that the guys were dropping “Brothers” from their name and will release music under the project “Jonas.”
Nick, Joe, and Kevin were seen having a breakfast meeting at the famed Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles earlier this month to gear up for the official announcement.
The source spilled the news to People saying “it’s coming.”
The first song since their breakup in 2013 is coming this Friday.
An insider told our Celeb Secrets reporters that it will premiere on March 1st on all iHeartRadio Top 40 stations first thing in the morning.
And it’s called “Sucker.”
Hours after we broke the news that the song was coming at the end of the week, Us Weekly shared the song title and reaffirming that is indeed coming on Friday. Calvin Stowell weighed in on the news saying, “Reliable sources who have heard it have told me their new music is amazing, like top tier pop. I’m READY.” He continued with “For folks who haven’t been following me for a long time, the Jonas Brothers were my original obsession on here and what I first tweeted about… then came One Direction.”
Every report seems to be accurate, as the guys started to tease something big on their social media handles.
@jonasbrothers has officially been reactivated on both Twitter and Instagram, leaving fans anxious with clear feeds and a plain black profile photo. Kevin, Joe, Nick, AND their significant others — Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas — are now following the account on Instagram. It seems as if the guys’ backing musicians are in on it as well, as John Taylor comes up on our mutual followers list.

The guys even redesigned their website, urging fans to sign up for their “mailing list” for more details.

After doing some digging on the mailing list, it looks like the guys are signed to Republic Records.
When our reporters signed up for the mailing list, something that caught out eye was what came up on the window before subscribing. There were boxes with multiple vendors to receive news from, one of which was Republic Records/Universal Music Group. This isn’t surprising that the guys would be working with Republic, as Nick Jonas is signed to Island/Safehouse Records (a UMG label), and Joe’s band DNCE releases music under Republic Records (a UMG label). The guys split from their original label, Hollywood Records, in 2012.
There’s still no word on a reunion tour.
