Jonas Brothers Will Release New Music This Friday (Report)

It’s officially happening!

Last week, rumors were SWIRLING that the Jonas Brothers are getting back together after almost SIX years on hiatus. Multiple sources have confirmed to major news outlets that the reunion is indeed happening, however, they did not specify when, making our inner fangirl check JoBro’s socials frantically for updates.

On February 26, a source told People that brothers Nick, 26, Joe, 29, and Kevin, 31, had a breakfast meeting at the famed Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles earlier this month to gear up for the official announcement with no time frame on when this will be happening. Another source told Us Weekly that they would be releasing music under a single moniker JONAS, but once again, did not specify when the guys would actually be doing this.

Our insiders have told us that the guys are indeed releasing new music and its coming sooner than you think. The source spilled the tea that a new Jonas song is dropping this Friday and it will be premiering on all of iHeartRadio’s Top 40 stations upon its release. While we don’t have a name for the song just yet, we know that it’s going to be amazing.

After breaking the news to Robin Roberts on Good Morning America in 2013 that the Jonas Brothers were officially breaking up due to a “deep rift” in the band, fans were distraught that their favorite group of brothers would never make music again. Since the announcement, Nick became a hit-making solo artist and married Priyanka Chopra, Joe‘s band DNCE shattered records with their debut single “Cake By The Ocean” and became engaged to Sophie Turner, and Kevin has been busy raising his two daughters in New Jersey with his wife Danielle.

Things started to look up in 2018 when the guys reactivated @jonasbrothers on Instagram and liked some posts from former backing musicians. It’s been roughly 13 months since the speculation and no posts have been shared to the account.

At the time, Nick denied the rumors of them getting back together, simply saying that there was “no reunion planned.” At that time 😉

“We hung out for a weekend all together and I guess our Instagram was restarted,” Nick told Ryan Seacrest on the E! red carpet special ahead of the 2018 Grammy Awards. “Right now there’s no reunion planned. But never say never — you never know what’s going to happen.”
