Jordyn Jones is back with another song and it’s already at the top of our summer playlist!
The singer, actress, dancer and model’s tune titled “cut ’em off” is an R&B infused pop anthem that is all about moving on from a toxic relationship. Whether it’s with a friend or a significant other, Jones’ lyrics encourage the listener to stop playing nice and say goodbye to the negativity.
“This song “cut ’em off” is really important to me because it really hits home. A lot of people I know have had toxic relationships whether it’s a friendship or relationship and we’ve all felt stuck at one point,” Jones tells Earmilk. “I hope this song inspires those people stuck in toxic relationships to know their worth and be confident in themselves.”
“cut em off” is the follow up to her most recent release “think about u” and will be featured on her forthcoming EP, which she tells Celeb Secrets will be dropping towards the end of the summer.
“My EP is basically a mixture of both of the songs [that I just released],” Jordyn told us about her upcoming EP at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango earlier this month. “You can listen to it all the way through every day and not get bored.”
