Zachary Levi is Hosting the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards

The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards have found their host and boy is he a good one.

Shazam! star Zachary Levi will be emceeing the special night, which is set to take place on Monday, June 17th in Santa Monica. Levi has some big shoes to fill with this duty, as previous hosts include Tiffany Haddish, Adam Devine, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer, Conan O’Brien, Rebel Wilson, Russell Brand, Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg.

No stranger to films, Levi is can currently be seen toplining David F. Sandberg’s blockbuster superhero feature film Shazam! from Warner Bros. Pictures/New Line Cinema. Levi has also appeared as Fandral in Thor: The Dark World, Chuck Bartowski in the popular television series Chuck and, most recently, as Benjamin in the Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winning series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, for which he took home a SAG® Award for “Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series.”

Nominees, categories and performers will be revealed at a later date, however, make sure to mark your calendars now and catch the show on Monday, June 17th @ 9PM ET/PT on MTV.
